What is Death March Memorial Tour?
To remember the gallantry and heroism of the Filipino and American Soldier who fought in Bataan during the defense of the Philippines and their surrender to the Japanese on April 9, 1942. Know and understand the life of a soldier in the peninsula where they had limited food, supplies, medicine and most were sick with Malaria and other Tropical Diseases but they fought fiercely against the Japanese. Learn about the hardships of the captive Filipino and American Soldiers who endured the hardships of the Death March as you trace its origin and paths.
